St. Louis Park Hunter Found Dead in Northern Minnesota

The male from St. Louis Park had been hunting and was located by a friend lying in the snow a short distance from a deer stand, police say.

A hunter from St. Louis Park was found dead in central Minnesota. Foul play is not suspected and it appears the man may have had a medical emergency, according to a news release.

Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl reported that on Nov. 19, 2016 at approximately 3:47 p.m., a 65-year-old male from St. Louis Park was found deceased in Ross Lake Township. The man had been hunting and was located by a friend lying in the snow a short distance from a deer stand.

The man was transported to Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The name of the male is not being released at this time so family members have time to notify relatives.
