St. Louis Park Kindergarten Info Night is Tuesday, Jan. 10
Parents and guardians of children who will enroll in kindergarten are invited to attend St. Louis Park's kindergarten information night.

Parents and guardians of children who will enroll in kindergarten for the 2017-18 school year are invited to attend the kindergarten information night at Aquila, Peter Hobart and Susan Lindgren Elementary Schools at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10. Kindergarten information night is a special open house event where parents and guardians can take a tour of the school, visit classrooms, talk with teachers and administrators, and see for themselves why St. Louis Park Public Schools is a great choice for their child.
The district offers free all-day, every-day kindergarten. St. Louis Park’s elementary schools all offer instruction using the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP).
The IB-PYP prepares students to be independent learners, understand different cultures, embrace challenges of the 21stcentury, and thrive in a global society, school officials say. With an emphasis on inquiry and a focus on educational standards, the IB-PYP curriculum provides an international experience while ensuring that state and national educational standards are met.

District residents with an eligible incoming kindergartener should have received information about which school they are assigned to attend, according to a news release. If you did not receive that information and are unsure about which elementary school is your neighborhood school, you can refer to the District’s attendance boundaries map.
In early March, families will receive an invitation to attend Kindergarten Registration Night, which will be held on the evening of Tuesday, March 21.
