St. Louis Park Pastor Accused Of Sexual Assault Of Teen
Robert P. McKenzie, 49, is accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl.
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — A Brooklyn Park man who works as a minister at a church in St. Louis Park is accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl. Robert P. McKenzie, 49, was charged Nov. 18 with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony.
According to the criminal complaint, McKenzie sexually assaulted the teen in her bathroom in May. He continued even when the teenager told him to stop, authorities said.
McKenzie "acknowledged the assault during a conversation" with the teenager, the criminal complaint states. "He admitted to touching victim inappropriately and said, 'I had a perverted thought.'"

Another incident occurred in November, police said.
The two counts against McKenzie each carry a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison, a $30,000 fine, plus conditional release.

According to the Star Tribune, McKenzie co-founded Word of Faith Ministries in St. Louis Park.
