St. Louis Park Police Give Kids Special Holiday Surprise
St. Louis Park students were each partnered with a police officer and given money to shop for their family.

The 3rd Annual "Cops N’ Kids Holiday Shopping" event was a huge success, according to St. Louis Park police. In collaboration with Target, 15 eighth grade students were each partnered with a police officer and given $100 to shop for their family.
Once they were finished shopping for family, police then surprised the students with $50 to shop for themselves.
After pizza donated by Park Tavern and gift wrapping at the police station, the event was complete "with smiles and a great, positive experience" with local police officers.
