I'm doing some skillshares this weekend and wanted to share them with you... please share with anyone you think might be interested...

Nomadic Green House Project, is hosting a volunteer day and Ribbon Cutting ceremony at Westwood Hills Nature Center on Thursday, May 29th and would love the neighborhood to know about it!
Just in case you are curious about what this is... check out www.SoiloftheSoul.com and you will see the six new Edible Playgrounds, including a Food Forest at Westwood Hills Nature Center.
We'll be teaching a class on growing your own edible mushrooms from 5-6:30 just before the Ribbon Cutting, with musicians from the SLP Sr. High Chamber Ensemble at 6:30!!
Come volunteer Thursday Noon-5pm to help set up the Mushroom Grotto and learn how to "Plug" the mushroom logs, as well as set up a Mushroom bed!! with Chicken of the Woods, Lion's Mane, Shitake, Oyster and many other fun and nutritious fungi :)
It should be a beautiful event and we hope neighbors will partake of the food forest foraging, and the events upcoming through FOTA (Friends of the Arts)... along with the very special Sunflower Huts sprinkled around town for the 2014 Our Town: Art and Nature.
OH! And we have a callout, through FOTA, for residents to share their "ART" in whatever form that may be, exhibit, perform, teach/workshop... so check out http://www.slpfota.org/2014-open-call-for-submissions.html for further info on that and please let your SLP neighbors know they can share their Art in Nature!!
More will be coming to the Nature Center and other five gardens throughout the summer...
CENTRAL Community Center has a volunteer day and public learning day on their Swales and Bales garden, Saturday May 31st, 10-4, and it's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is June 2nd, 6:30 with SLP SH Chamber groups and soloists.
Lennox Community Center has a volunteer day and public learning day on their Children's Edible Playground and the FOTA Food Art Bed and Sunflower Hut on June 1st, 10-2, with its Ribbon Cutting Ceremony also on June 2nd, but at 7:45, again with groups and soloists from the SLP SH Chamber Ensemble.
JOIN US! Volunteer or just come celebrate the Educational Edible Playground Gardens sprouting all over St. Louis Park!!
