Threat Shuts Down St. Louis Park Synagogue Friday: Report

Preschool was canceled Friday, and the synagogue's Sabbath services​ were moved to online-only.​​

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — The Beth El Synagogue in St Louis Park is closed Friday after a reported violent threat.

A threat sent to the Chicago office of the Anti-Defamation League referenced Beth El Synagogue and St. Louis Park, the Star Tribune reported.

"There were indications that the threat may have come from the Twin Cities area," Beth El Synagogue managing director Matt Walzer told synagogue members.
