Authorities say a search of their home turned up 60 pounds of marijuana, $69,860 in cash, and an AR-15 rifle.

GRAND FORKS, ND - Two University of North Dakota students from the Twin Cities metro area are facing felony drug charges after police searched their home near campus last week. On Nov. 21, the Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant "based upon a lengthy investigation" of activities on the 1600 block of 4th Avenue N. Police say the search resulted in the seizure of 60 pounds of marijuana, "numerous pills," two vehicles, an AR-15 rifle, and $69,860 in cash.

Sophomores Cade Hoben, 21, of Plymouth, and Mark Hildahl, 20, of Minnetrista were both charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. A safe with a pound of marijuana was confiscated from Hildahl’s room, the Star Tribune reported.

The two appeared in Grand Forks County District Court Monday.
