Woman Hurt After Tree Falls On Her At Wayzata Punch Pizza
The woman's husband said they heard a cracking noise before the tree fell on her at the Wayzata Punch Pizza restaurant.
A get together among family to celebrate a birthday became calamitous after a tree fell on a woman who was sitting at the patio of a Twin Cities pizza restaurant. Wayzata police responded to the town's Punch Pizza location at 5:50 p.m. Saturday, May 6 after the incident occurred.
The woman's husband, Dan Scott, told police that he was at Punch Pizza with his wife and daughter when a cracking noise started before a tree fell on Micki, KARE 11 reported:
Scott says his wife has been in the ICU at North Memorial for the two weeks since the incident. She is in critical condition.
They were visiting from Oregon to celebrate their daughter's birthday when the accident occurred, according to Scott.
