A New Starbucks Opening Close To St. Michael-Albertville

Starbucks Coffee customers in St. Michael-Albertville will have a drive through, freestanding coffee shop just a stitch closer than Maple Grove come this fall.

Construction crews working at the former Dunn Bros Coffee Shop at Northdale Boulevard and Highway 101 today confirmed that Starbucks is taking over and will open for business September 28.

"The city is thrilled to have a new Starbucks in Rogers," city administrator Steve Stahmer said Thursday. "We're especially happy that a national company views Rogers as a strong market and this is just the latest example. We are optimistic more of the same will follow and welcome and wish Starbucks well," he continued.

While Target stores in Rogers, Otsego and Monticello all have Starbucks Coffee shops inside their stores, this will be the first freestanding location and closest drive through for St. Michael-Albertville families.
