My Background and Company Story
My name is Patrick Brown, my wife Deb and I started this company as we're passionate about food, entertaining, and teaching - our goal and mission statement is to turn good cooks into great cooks!

Mustard Seed was dreamed up about a year and a half ago. I was busy working for corporate America as a Regional Director for a very large food service contract company. Three years of hopping planes and sleeping in hotels every week inspired me to finally pursue my dream of starting my own company. It was either that or as Deb says, this was my 'mid-life' crisis!
Anyway, nearly 30 years of restaurant and food service experience coupled with having the benefit of working with some truly world class Chefs has given me the background, passion, and goal of helping everyone become the world class entertainer and home Chef that would make anyone proud. The best way to do that we thought, was to create some fantastic seasonings, blends, and rubs that will make any cuisine shine! Many a 'board' meeting was held out on the deck trying various concoctions and entertaining with friends until the version of the company as you see it today was born!
What you can expect from my Blog!
Obviously the focus is on the food. We will blog each week and feature information on home entertaining and how to make you that great home chef you’re dying to be! This may include pictures and recipes of some fantastic dishes that you can make at home.
We also want to hear from you! We would like you to submit both photos and recipes to info@mustardseedspice.com for both use in store on our video slideshow, and to share with our Mustard Seed Spice family via this blog and our Facebook page!
Anyone who submits a photo and/or recipe will be entered into a monthly drawing and be eligible to win 2 FREE bottles of their choice!
