Absentee Ballots To Start Being Mailed Out Next Week In Wright County
The office has received a high volume of calls asking where the ballots are.

The start of the period prior to the Nov. 3 general election for people to vote absentee by mail opens Friday, Sept. 18. The Wright County Auditor/Treasurer’s Office wants those who have already filled out applications to receive absentee ballots that staff will be processing the applications and getting ballots out in the mail starting next week.

The office has received a high volume of calls asking where the ballots are. To date, Wright County has received more than 13,000 absentee ballot requests and staff in the Auditor/Treasurer’s Office will be assigned to get the ballots out as quickly as possible to those who have already had their applications approved.
Due to the volume of absentee ballots, the Elections Division asks that residents be patient. The ballots will be on the way starting next week.
