“The public window of the Wright County Auditor/Treasurer’s Office will be closed for the remainder of today (October 14) due to potential COVID-19 exposure. In discussions with Minnesota Office of the Secretary of State, it was recommended we close the public facing counter, isolate any employees that were potentially exposed to the individual who tested positive for COVID-19 and take measures to sanitize the entire office. The current expectation is that the office will re-open at 8 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Oct. 15). Residents who are coming to the Wright County Government Center to vote absentee or drop off 2nd half 2020 property taxes, there is voting information available on a table set up in front of the Auditor/Treasurer’s Office on the second floor of the Government Center and property tax drop boxes at the front entrance to the Government Center and on the second floor at the Auditor/Treasurer’s Office entrance. We will keep residents informed if the plan to reopen the office Thursday changes.”
