BNSR Railroad Crossing Project At CSAH 5 Won't Be Completed Until October 15
A detour route is not being posted, so motorists are asked to use alternate routes and allow a little extra time to reach your destination.

Those who travel on CSAH 5 in Middleville Township are going to have an extra day of the road being closed north of Hwy. 12.

The project, being done by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSR) Railroad to do a reconstruction at the railroad crossing on CSAH 5 (this is not a county road project), was scheduled to take place on Tuesday-Wednesday, Oct. 13-14. However, the crossing reconstruction is going to extend into Thursday, Oct. 15. A detour route is not being posted, so motorists are asked to use alternate routes and allow a little extra time to reach your destination if you were planning to drive on CSAH 5 on Thursday.
