A few of the Candidates share their thoughts on our Candidate Potluck

Candidate Potluck

This wasΒ Albertville Royalty'sΒ 2nd Annual Candidate Potluck - it is a time for ALL of the candidates, big and small, and their families to come together and meet and EAT.Β  The committee and a couple of the judges were also there to enjoy the festivities!Β  Below you can read what a few of the girls had to say.Β  I will add more as they come in.Β  Next up - the Zimmerman parade and our FIRST Royal Ball for visiting royalty! Jr. Candidate Chloe writes; I really enjoyed the pot luck.Β  The funnest parts were the limbo and wrapping candidates in toilet paper!Β  Love, Chloe Alex Johnson writes; It was a BLAST!!! :) Katie Thelen writes; Words cannot describe how much fun it was!!!Β  The night was unforgettable! Getting to bond with our buddies was a great memory that will forever be in my mind! Sydney Renzaglia writes;Β  The toilet paper game was a blast! My cheeks hurt from laughing and the food was fantastic! Atalie Duncan summed up the night and wrote; The pot luck was so amazing! I was able to bond with each and every candidate and it was great to meet all of their families. We started off the night with a little mingling. We were able to kind of "break the ice". After getting to know many individuals, we stood up and introduced ourselves as well as our families! It was fun becauseΒ I found myself trying to memorize names every time one stood up! Next we had our dinner which consisted anywhereΒ from a cupcake tower to BBQ meatballs and sloppy Joe's. I have to say, it was not the best choice to eat the sloppy Joe, but it sure was tasty! After we were done eating, we got to play a princess dress up game! One would think it was with dresses... nope! Our junior buddies wrapped us all up in gowns and crownsΒ with toilet paper! Best experience EVER!! We ended the night with lots of activities including the limbo and the hokey poky.Β Can't forget all of the goodbye hugs we all received! It was a wonderful time getting to spend time with all of theΒ great people who contributed the food as well as just their time! Thanks so much to the committee and all of the candidates and family who came! It was great meeting you all! Β
