Allina Medical Clinic – St. Michael Physicians Present Menopause Information

Physicians from Allina Medical Clinic - St. Michael are offering an information session on menopause on Monday, April 22 at the Liberty Restaurant in St. Michael.

Women interested in learning about menopause and pre-menopause are encouraged to attend an information session at Liberty Restaurant on Monday, April 22 at 5:30 p.m.

The event, Don’t Pause Your Life for Menopause, will be led by two OB/GYN physicians from Allina Medical Clinic – St. Michael, Michael McNelis, MD, and Krista Honsey, DO.  They will share tips on symptom management, the pros and cons of hormone replacement therapy and the role that nutrition and exercise play throughout menopause.

“This time in a woman’s life is also a good opportunity to talk about bone loss and heart disease,” said Dr. McNelis. “Hormone changes brought on by menopause and aging can pose a variety of health issues that women may not be considering.”
