I recently had the opportunity to work with my son, Ian's, second grade class and talk about eyes and vision. As I put together the presentation, I kept in mind that at this age, kids are wowed with the "little known" facts of the world and decided to pull out a few of my favorite animal eye facts:
Scorpions have as many as 12 eyes, and some flatworms have more than 100 eyes scattered all over their bodies!
