PRESSURE. 

What does that have to do with your health and fitness? 2 things:

1. Consistency, even in the tough times makes you stronger and more likely to acheive your fitness goals. 

2. Strength training. Literally, putting resistance on your bones makes them stronger and less susceptible to osteoporosis.

What does this mean for you? 

1. Set small, attainable goals for workouts; like, 5 minutes/day. This may not seem like much, but it gets you started, keeps you consistant, and when the pressure is on to do something else, you can tell yourself IT'S ONLY 5 MINUTES, I CAN DO THIS. 

2. Workout your muscles. I'm talking to you "walkers". I love walking. It's one of my favorite forms of exercise. However, to increase strength, remember, we need pressure. Do lunges, squats, pushups, planks, take a strength class and/or move your body in a way that works the muscles of your body, not just the heart. 

Remember, pressure makes diamonds. What kind of a body do you want???
