I'm hungry!!!

Romaine lettuce with pineapple salsa!

It's that simple!!  With only 15 calories per 2 tbsp, you can't go wrong!!! (unless you eat the whole jar...) My favorite salsa is Newman's Own Pineapple. It is sweet and spicy and satisfies the taste buds when I just want a snack.

The easiest lettuce I have found to work with is the Taylor Organic Romaine Heart Leaves. I say easy because it's already pre-cut, washed and ready to load up with salsa (much like a lettuce wrap).  AND, with only 15 calories per 2 cups, this is a fantastic snack option!!

Other veggies that work well to dip in salsa include celery, broccoli and snap peas.

In addition to the low calories, these two foods are filled with healthy vitamins and minerals including 100 percent vitamin A and 35 percent vitamin C.

Enjoy!
