Jobs On The Road

With less than a week until all 11 teams hit the road, setting out across the United States, the excitement and nerves are beginning to set in as October 1st draws near.

NET has been quite busy the past month and a half! Not only am I loving every moment of training, but I am in awe of how amazing my Team is! At first I guessed NET staff randomly picked out 12 names out of a hat and said "Team 6!" But I am beginning to see, as I get to know these amazing women and men more, that God truly was at work!

This past week each team member was assigned their job titles and roles we will have this year and I am really excited about it!

On my Team, I will be keeping track and making sure we always have enough Supplies for retreats. This job includes: keeping inventory, printing necessary sheets for each retreat, keeping all supplies organized and washing the props regularly.

My other job is, dun dun dunnn... Developmental Assistant, which basically includes: blogging for our team, making sure team thank you letters are written for Christmas and Easter, keep track and collect stories from the others on my team, where monthly they share a "Glory Story" about something great that happened to them or that they witnessed while on NET!

I am so thrilled to not only turn 19 on Saturday, but am honored to set out with such an amazing team. The places we will visit from now to Christmas include: Rockford, IL, Richmond, VA, followed by Fargo, ND and LaCrosse, WI.

We are really so excited to be able to set out and finally hit the road and become more comfortable with putting on retreats and get use to our team jobs. What an adventure this next year will be though! Please keep my team and all the teens we have, and have yet to encounter in your prayers! Also...
