Hey everyone, this is Kaylee, one of this year's Miss Albertville candidates. Last night was the candidates' first get-together and we were able to get to know each other a little better over a couple rounds of bowling. Though we all go to the same school, we still had to exchange some names right away. We all had a good time trying to pronounce Snezhana's name correctly the first time! Then we got down to the real challenge: bowling. At least it was a challenge for me! Kiara seems to have a real knack for getting strikes, but only after she bowls a gutter ball. We also noticed that Carli has a really unique style of bowling, she bowls and then kicks her foot up behind her. Paige and I were the photographers of the night, taking wild shots like devoted photographers would. Melissa discovered a new talent: bowling better with her left hand. Amanda was pretty good at being the social butterfly she is, going around and chatting with everyone. Overall, it is a great bunch of girls! It was a great time getting to know them rather than just seeing them around the halls at school. I'm excited to spend more time with these girls and creating some close friendships!
