Miss Albertville Candidate #7, Atalie shares her thoughts on the 1st ever Friendly Formal

Candidate #7, Atalie shares her thoughts on the 1st ever Friendly Formal

The Friendly Formal Ball…That day definitely has been the best day yet!
Earlier that morning, we had the Zimmerman Wild West Parade. It was awesome!
Then just a couple hours after, a bunch of surrounding royalties as well as
their candidates joined us at the first ever Albertville Royal Ball. Everyone looked BEAUTIFUL! The night was fun filled with decorated cupcakes, carnival games, a photo booth with lots of fun accessories andΒ a lot of dancing! It was a ton of fun learning different dances I never would have known how to do. Being able to meet so many surrounding royalty truly opens my eyes to what this program is all about. Meeting new people and uniting together as one to make sure our communities are the best they can be. I found myself constantly around new people that suddenly did not become so new anymore. The impression that they give off is so welcoming and consistent. I hope that I am honored with a title so that I can get to know them even better!Β  There was never a dull moment at
that ball. We played several types of β€œMusical Chairs” including all Miss
Congenialities, Candidates AND even the Chaperones! Β By the end of the night, it felt like my feet were about to fall off after walking in the parade and dancing all night – but it was worth it! Β The overall experience that day was overwhelmingly awesome! Special thanks to the committee and current royal families members for gathering all supplies and setting everything up, as well as everyone who contributed in donating food for the Hanover Food Shelf and joined us in a wonderful time! Thanks everyone, hope to see you at the style show, spaghetti dinner, parade, and lastly coronation!
