Let's take a look. What happens when you eat a healthy breakfast? First, you jumpstart your metabolism for the day. You give your body fuel for the morning. You probably will be hungry within a couple hours so you will have a healthy snack and then NOT overeat at lunch (or grab the first thing you see). Sound good so far? Let's keep going.
After lunch, your metabolism is burning like a wood stove, so you have energy to get through the after lunch slump. You will most likely grab some fruit on your way home so you don't overeat at dinner. When you get home, cooking is a breeze because you are NOT so hungry that you eat half the pasta before it gets off the stove. The fresh veggies that you steamed are tasting delicious after a big glass of water. All this from breakfast? Almost there...

After dinner you have another BIG glass of water and feel GREAT that you had energy throughout the day, you ate fruits and veggies, you closed the kitchen after dinner and you may even wake up lighter the next morning because you are done eating before 7 or 8pm.
