Today Is The Day
Getting the items I will need for the next 9 months packed up as I set out, finally, to serve as a Catholic Missionary across the United States!

206 days ago I was invited to serve as a Catholic Missionary with NET Ministries, but now, the day I have been waiting so many days for is finally here. My parents and I are leaving soon to drop me off and say goodbye. My nerves are catching up with me as I get my last hugs and kisses from my 3 younger siblings and try to explain to the youngest, Jacob (my 9 year old brother), that I really won't be home until Christmas, and even then temporarily until after he finishes he 3rd Grade year at school. It still doesn't feel real though, I'm sure it will set in tomorrow when I wake up to a different bed, with the absence of my family and a whole different environment.
For me to actually do NET, to take this leap, it really is such a matter of trust. Trust that the Lord wants me here, that He has my back, that He will give me the graces to do this and that the missions I am leaving behind will be taken care of in my absence.
"Live a Life of Love" - Ephesians 5:1-2 It takes courage to live out your faith, it takes strength to stand up to persecution, it takes faith to follow, it takes trust to get back up, and it takes love to hold it all together! I love Him the most, we are called to love him the most. God is the purest love imaginable and only the best! Now, as I set out on this mission to change the hearts of teens, I am certain of of this love and trusting Him with my life. Letting Him take the drivers seat and knowing I am safe.
