Tonight is the night.

Tonight I will let my daughter put on makeup. Lots of it.

Tonight I will let my kids stay out until well after dark.

Tonight I will let my son talk to strangers. Tonight I will let them walk for miles, ring doorbells until their fingers fall off, scream in the streets and eat candy until they puke.

Tonight I will be the Best. Mom. Ever. Not because I will let them do these things, but because I'll be leading the way!
