Vikings Lose to Colts 23-20: Vikes Still Need Lots of Improvment
The Vikings lose 23-20 against the Colts. What can they do to improve, and do they still have a shot at the playoffs?
Remember last week? Final two minutes. We had the lead, then the Jaguars took the lead, and hope was lost. Then we were able to tie it up, and go into overtime where we scored again to win. That's what happened today, but this time the Colts were the ones to come back and win, and we didn't even have the chance to go into overtime.
Ponder threw two fourth-quarter touchdowns to tie the score with the Colts. Luck led the offense onto the field with 31 seconds left in regulation. Three snaps. Three completions for 47 yards. Then Adam Vinatieri drilled a 53-yard field goal with 12 seconds left for the 23-20 victory.

But for the most part, the Vikings lost this game by themselves. Penalty after penalty. The Colts didn't even have to do anything. The Vikings have obviously still need a lot of practice. They had too many penalties even for a math genius to count.

Percy Harvin and Adrian Peterson looked great. Jared Allen had a rough game with a stupid penalty. Kyle Rudolph got his first touchdown of the season, doing so with 31 seconds left in regulation.
The Vikings are 1-1 now. I'm saying the next game is a "must win" if they still want a shot at the playoffs. How do you think the Vikings need to improve?
