
“ We’re going to have ham and those awesome cheesey potatoes for Easter, right?” our son asked the other day as we were finalizing plans for Easter. Our son is sixteeen so food, of course, comes first! Planning what you will eat for Easter, who will prepare it, and where you will eat are all important for
our Easter celebration.
My extended family is still hustling with schedules in order to make it possible for us to gather on Easter Sunday. If your family is like ours you may also find yourself scrambling to make it possible to gather as a family for Easter.
The one very important part of family’s life for Easter is worshipping. Gathering with our friends in Christ we take time to thank God for the victory over death through the resurrection of Jesus.

Easter is about what God has done for us. By raising Jesus from death, our Lord tells us that we have a future with Jesus that begins now and goes on for all eternity.
