Where is God in your job search?

Over the last year I 've talked with several individuals and familes in the St. Michael-Albertville area who are in job transitions. One initial step people need to take after losing a job is to deal with the pain and anger. Why did this happen to me? Why now? Why didn't I see the signs earlier or anticipate my position being eliminated?

Some have then wondered what God is up to when a job transition takes place.   How is God involved? Where is God? 

Most challenging is the issue of trusting God. Can you trust God to be with you through the ups and downs of a new job search? Can you trust that our Lord wil provide for you and your family?

Can faith be strengthened through such a time as a job transition? Or, can your faith be weakened? It is very natural to wonder and cry out to God with questions such as "Why did you allow this to happen to me, Lord?"
