Women of Today Sponsor Blanket Project
Learn about another awesome event put on by the STMA Women of Today!
On August 14, over 35 students from Club Knights at Middle School East participated in a project sponsored by the STMA Women of Today. These students tied 27 fleece blankets that will be donated to children entering the foster care system. The blankets will be distributed by the Wright County Department of Human Services.
The Club Knights students were also able to learn about the foster care system, including how difficult it can be for children entering the system and what they could do to help all kids feel included. A special thanks to all the students that participated, and to the staff at Club Knights for helping make this project happen.
