I always say that if youβre attorney isnβt busy then he probably isnβt a good attorney.Β Iβll go with that as the reason (excuse?) for my long absence in posting on my Patch blog.
In my defense, itβs not like Iβve been sitting around doing nothing.Β Besides handling various client matters β which Patch readers will one day soon appreciate as Iβm hard at work with a new crop of Minnesota craft breweries (and a distillery) β Iβve been seen and heard a bit in the last two months.Β
My September Legal MinutesΒ for the Real Estate Radio Hour (heard Saturdays on WCCO 830 am) focused on various aspects of contracts for deed and purchase agreements.Β Octoberβs segments focused on land use issues such as zoning, comprehensive plans and subdivision regulations (hereβs where I insert my disclaimer about being on the Albertville Planning & Zoning Commission and the information contained in said Legal Minutes are my opinions and not the Cityβs, etc., etcβ¦.)

Wearing my business lawyer hat, I jumped on The Business Forum Show last week with my good friend, Kevin Hunter, to talk about choice of entity and written contracts.
And last, but not least, my ugly mug made the StarTribune, talking about everyoneβs favorite topic, taxes (more particularly, the difficulty in escaping Minnesotaβs taxes).

Iβll be back soon with more exciting legal information; I promise!
