The following court cases involving area arrests were handed down in Wright County Court. Information is provided by the Wright County Attorney's Office.
Kayne Edward Mueller, 23, of Albertville, sentenced on Jan. 30 for Gross Misdemeanor Obstructing Legal Process to 365 days jail, $300 fine; 355 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 10 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, remain medically compliant, have no same or similar violations.Sentenced by Judge Strand.

Bret Layne Isaacs, 50, of Monticello, sentenced on Jan. 30 for Felony Domestic Assault by Strangulation to a stay of execution for three years on conditions of probation, serve 60 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, obtain permission before leaving the state, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, remain medically compliant, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, undergo a mental health assessment and follow all recommendations, abide by any outstanding order for protection/harassment order/no contact order, undergo domestic abuse counseling and follow all recommendations, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced for Gross Misdemeanor Violation of No Contact Order to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 325 days, $3,000 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 40 days jail, concurrent, follow above conditions. Sentenced by Judge Strand.
Morrena Ruthmarie Koziolek, 38, of Buffalo, sentenced on Jan. 29 for Misdemeanor Check Forgery to 90 days jail, $75 fine; 90 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, pay $75 fine, pay restitution, complete 40 hours community service, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Davis.
