Curious Situation at Cornerstone Clinic Continues

The business hasn't been open for days, and now the site is being listed as "for lease."

For the last three or four weeks, has been the talk of the St. Michael community. Doors are shut, one light is on, and clients haven't been able to get in contact with anyone regarding orders or appointments.

With a sign on the door explaining a “transition due to a very large medical issue," there is no further information on when the clinic will be reopening or when current customers can pick up eyewear, some of which might have already been paid for.

Patch tried to reach the clinic but the website has been taken down and the voicemail box is currently full. Marc Weigle, St. Michael Community Development Director said that he, too, has been unable to make contact.

“The city has received many phone, calls but we have been unsuccessful to reach the owner," Weigle said.

Weigle added that he was just made aware that the space hosting the vision clinic has been listed for lease by Welsh Companies. The listing can be seen here.

This could lead many to believe the clinic is closing.

A phone call to Welsh Companies was not returned prior to the posting of this story.
