Customer Chased Super America Robber Tuesday Night in Rogers
Two 17 year olds are in police custody after an attempted robbery in Rogers last night.
Around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday night an officer on patrol saw an armed robber chased out of SuperAmerica on South Diamond Lake Road by a customer.
Two suspects were taken into custody by the Rogers police after the customer tackled the armed robber to the ground. The armed robber was a 17 year old male from Fridley and a 17 year old girl from Shoreview was also arrested due to giving him a ride to the gas station.
Both the customer and the officer will receive commendations at the August 16 Rogers City Council Meeting.
