At its daily press briefing today (July 20), the Minnesota Department of Health reported 922 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 – the highest single-day total since the pandemic began experiencing cases in Minnesota in March.

It was reported the first death in the state attributed to the coronavirus to a person in the 0-5 age group. To date, 1,545 Minnesotans have died from complications related to COVID-19.
