EDA Releases Requests For Proposal For Current Government Center Sale In Wright County

Today the Wright County Economic Development Authority (EDA) put out a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a redevelopment assessment of the Wright County Government Center, located at 10 Second St. NW in Buffalo. It is anticipated that, by the end of 2021, the current Government Center will be vacated. The purpose of the RFP is to use the selected redevelopment assessment to market and sell the property.

Consulting firms interested in submitting a proposal should send a notice of intent to Elizabeth.Karels@co.wright.mn.us by Friday, April 30. The deadline to officially submit a proposal is 4 p.m. Friday, May 7.

The Wright County EDA was created in November 2020 with the primary objective of shepherding economic growth within Wright County. The purpose of marketing the property is to obtain the highest and best use for the Government Center once county staff moves out of the building at the end of this year.
