Headwaters 5K Run and Walk supports children and families in need when natural disaster stikes and is opne for all to participate. Funds raised will help feed children at an orphanage in Haiti, provide mental health services to survivors of Hurrican Katrina in New Orleans and bring volunteers to areas in the Midwest that are at risk of flooding. Most recently volunteer crews helped the victims of North Minneapolis tornado.
The Headwaters 5K is unique this year in that we have opportunities for participation both in the 5K event itself as well as in the fundraising campaign. This is YOUR opportunity to help people rebuild their lieves after disaster strikes.
