Girl Scouts New Member Night

Crow river girl scouts hold "new member night" on october 6th!

On Monday October 6th the Crow River Service Unit held its “New Member Night” at the St. Michael City Hall. Girl Scouts is a volunteer lead organization and this evening was no different. Many volunteers helped: Emily F, Claire S and Adalyn P from Troop 13506; Kaitlyn P, Kylie S and Faith M from Troop 11541; Emma D from Troop 14025; Olivia P from Troop 13502; Abby P, Isabella P and Kelly D from Troop 13031.

New girls got to experience some activities that might occur during a troop meeting such as: singing songs, making a craft, making a snack and participating in a community service project. Adults discussed how to form new troops and what their next steps would be. We had roughly 50 new girls join and five new troops formed.
