Minnesota... middle of winter and everyone's day dreaming about a vacation. If you can't get away at least you can eat like you're on vacation.
It's Grand Opening month all of January at Mustard Seed Spice Company in Albertville so we thought we would treat you to one of our favorite recipes.
Even though we're not actually sending anyone to Tuscany we can give you a 'taste' of what Tuscany is all about!

This tasty Italian favorite is excellent on pizza, in pasta, added to olive oil as a dip for bread, or on just about anything that needs that little flair from Italy.
One of our favorite uses is in a delicious Spinach Artichoke Dip... here's the recipe!
Spinach Artichoke Dip
2 packages frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
2 cups chopped artichokes hearts- either water packed in jars or thawed frozen
1 block (8 ounce) cream cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons Mustard Seed Spice Company Tuscany Blend
Garlic toast or crackers for dipping
Soften cream cheese and blend with remaining ingredients except mozzarella. Bake 20 minutes in 350 degree oven. Top with mozzarella and a generous sprinkle of Tuscany Blend.
Enjoy!!
We hope to see you soon!
Warmest Regards,
Patrick Brown, Owner & Chief Culinary Consultant
