The I-94 West Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of the 2013 Chairman’s Circle Awards, Volunteer of the Year Award, and Ambassador of the Year Award. All of the awards will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner and Silent Auction on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Rockwoods Banquet & Conference Center in Otsego.
Recently introduced by the Chamber, the exclusive Chairman’s Circle Award recognizes members that have made significant financial investments to the Chamber during the year, which support the events, programming, and efforts of the Chamber and contribute to a prosperous economic and business environment in our region.
Recipients of the Chairman’s Circle Award for 2013 are Cabela’s, announced this month as the Title Sponsor of the Annual Dinner and Silent Auction, and Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Hinckley. Both are long-time members of the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce.

Also presented at the Annual Dinner and Silent Auction will be the Volunteer of the Year and Ambassador of the Year Awards.
Cindy McCarty, Corporate Sales Manager, Holiday Inn Minneapolis NW – Elk River, has been named the 2013 Volunteer of the Year. Cindy is active with the Chamber’s eLeaders Professional Development Program and has assisted with the planning and execution of several Chamber events.

Jaimie Larson of Jet Edge, located in St. Michael, has been named the 2013 Ambassador of the Year. As an Ambassador, Jaimie represents the Chamber while visiting member businesses and at ribbon cutting celebrations and other events. She is also active with the eLeaders Professional Development Program.
The Annual Dinner and Silent Auction, held each year at the end of September, is one of the Chamber’s premier Signature Events. It draws over 200 business leaders from around the Region and offers an opportunity to connect and celebrate success as the leaders of the business community. This year, in addition to Silent Auction items on display at the dinner event, all items will be featured and available for bidding online prior to the event. The Annual Dinner and Silent Auction is the Chamber’s largest fundraising event of the year.
