A four-game unbeaten streak came to an end for the St. Michael-Albertville boys soccer team as the Knights were blanked by host Edina, 4-0, on Monday night.Β 

STMA goalkeeper Cole Christian had a busy night with seven saves on 11 shots faced against the Hornetsβ€”the fifth-ranked team in Class AAβ€”falling to 5-2-2 this autumn.

As a team, the Knights dropped to 7-3-2 overall with the loss and now are scheduled to host Spectrum/Big Lake on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. before heading back out on the road to face the top-ranked team in Class AAβ€”Eastviewβ€”on Thursday evening.
