Meet Jacob Kreutner: Albertville Wastewater Treatment Operator
Jacob Kreutner started with the city of Albertville in April.

hired Jacob Kreutner in April as the new Wastewater Treatment Plant operator and Patch sat down and learned a little bit more about both Kreutner and his new role.
Patch: What does a wastewater treatment plant operator do exactly?
Kreutner: A little bit of everything! I run daily samples, do a lot of maintenance work. Right now is a really busy time because we are jetting sewers.

Patch: Where did you work before Albertville?
Kreutner: I graduated from St. Cloud Tech with a degree in water and environmental technologies and started working in the city of Minneapolis right after graduation.

Patch: What was working for the Minneapolis Water Treatment Plant like?
Kreutner: Minneapolis had all the newest technology and top of the line equipment. It was even more advanced than my schooling.
Patch: What are you most excited about in your new position?
Kreutner: I really like the variety of the job, I get to do new stuff everyday and it helps that all the people I work with are friendly and we all get along well.
Patch: As a new Albertville resident, what do you like most about both living and working here?
Kreutner: I like the small town and getting to know a lot of people. The familiarity is something I look forward to.
