If you are currently receiving SNAP or Cash Assistance, you were recently notified by the Department of Human Services (DHS) the requirement to recertify monthly benefits will begin effective Sept. 1, 2020. This was a general information memo. At the time your case is required to recertify monthly benefits, additional paperwork will be mailed to you automatically for completion, which will also indication the due date for the recertification paperwork to be returned to our agency for further processing. An interview may be required for your annual recertification – which can be completed over the phone, face-to-face or other agency-approved internet options. If your annual recertification requires an interview, our agency will contact you to schedule an interview.
