Montrose Teen Dies After Being Dragged by Pickup Truck
Authorities say an 18-year-old from Montrose, Minnesota died after he was dragged on the road by a pickup truck.

A teenager from Montrose, Minnesota has died after being dragged by a truck, police say.
The Wright County Communications Center received a report of an unconscious male lying in the roadway in the 500 block of 1st Street North in Montrose at 2:28 am on Sunday morning.

The preliminary investigation indicated Harvey approached a pickup truck parked on the roadway and became involved in a confrontation with a passenger still seated in the vehicle.
The vehicle accelerated during the confrontation dragging Harvey a short distance.

Harvey was treated at the scene by deputies, Montrose Rescue workers and Ridgeview Ambulance prior to being transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.
Two adults were arrested and booked into the Wright County Jail on criminal vehicular operations and simple robbery charges.
