Obituary: Hilaria "Larri" Opitz King
Hilaria "Larri" Opitz King started her 100 year life in St. Michael.

Age 100. Born April 22, 1912 to parents Johanna & Nicholas Walesch of St.
Michael, Minnesota. Entered into eternal rest at Sunrise Cottages of Buffalo, Minnesota on July 26, 2012. Preceded in death by husbands Alvin Opitz & Emmett King; grandson Joseph Andresen; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. Survived by son, William (Anne), daughter Yvonne (Bob) Jacobs, and son, Alvin (Nancy); grandchildren, Mike, Bob, Michele, Cindy, Tom, Jennifer, Amy, Becky, & Sarah; 16 great grandchildren; brother Ken Walesch; sister Beatrice Praught; sisters in law, Verna Walesch, & Betty Walesch; and many cousins, nieces, & nephews. Employed by Osseo public schools, 17 years in food service. Member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for 80 years. Active in Womenβs Altar Society & Circle groups. Enjoyed travelling to Hawaii, Ireland, and California. She spent many summers with family and friends at Platte Lake cabin, and enjoyed winter trips with her sister Beatrice, and many trips visiting her sister Dickβs family in Wisconsin. Grandma Larri was very close to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family members, relatives, and friends will always remember the holidays and other occasions at Larriβs home. She will be greatly missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial 1PM Tuesday July 31st at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, MN, with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
