Office Of Traffic Safety In Wright County Providing Refresher Material On One-Year Anniversary Of Hands Free Law

Saturday, Aug. 1, marked the one-year anniversary of the Hands Free Law, which prohibits the use of cell phones in vehicles. To mark the anniversary, the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety, a sub-division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, has offered some refresher reminders for motorists as to why the law can help save lives by reducing the amount of distracted driving done on Minnesota roads.
