Ongoing Incident In Monticello, Wright County

The situation in Monticello involving an armed individual is still an active operation. We are asking that the public continue to avoid the area near Fenning Av. and School Blvd. in Monticello. The Sheriff’s Office will release more information as soon as the situation has been brought to a conclusion. The Sheriff’s Office has brought in numerous resources to try and bring this situation to a peaceful resolution.
