Wednesday, May 15 is National Peace Officers Memorial Day. From postal inspectors to small-town sheriffs, Congress has dedicated the week of May 15 to honoring America's law enforcement officers, especially those killed in the line of duty, each year.Β

  • They have made our community a better place just by being seen and present in our community. They also do an amazing job being present in our schools. I especailly LOVE the D.A.R.E. program that 4th graders participate in.
  • Too bad STMA has decided to no longer participate in the D.A.R.E.program.
  • do you know why?
  • Would love a St. Michael - Albertville Police Dept. something to think about!
  • reasons that were given at last night's meeting were (1) scheduling and (2) that teachers think they can teach the standards of it on their own. It's very disappointing news!
  • the same police coverage Wright County provides us would cost you 4 times as much money as you pay right now.
  • When did they decoder to stop DARE? They had it this year.
  • I want to put out there that Sheriff Haggerty assisted me with a hit and run incident on my new truck and was great to deal with. Professional and understanding. Did a great job following up with me to make sure I had all the information I needed to give my insurance company and how to deal with the driver of the other vehicle (a wonderful good Samaritan left the license plate of the truck that hit me on my windshield). Kuddos to the Wright County Sheriffs that patrol Saint Michael.
  • My dealings with the Sheriff and his staff have been nothing but positive. In my opinion the money spent by taxpayers in Albertville is well spent for the coverage we receive.
