Princess Brittany helps MAKE-A-WISH come true!

On the 7th of September the albertville royalty had the honor of sponsoring a girl through the make a wish foundation.  Her name is Alexis, and her wish was to be queen for a day. Ever since she was little she was fascinated by princesses. So we made her wish come true.
     We started off the day bright and early at the inspiration spa in Albertville. Once we arrived Alexis got her hair and nails done. After the beauty part was complete she was presented with her crown and sash. Seeing her eyes light up when she saw her crown made my heart melt. She was so appreciative of everything we had giving her. But the day didn't stop there. From the salon we headed down the street for a delicious breakfast at perkins.
     Once we arrived at the float Alexis jumped for joy at the sight of it. She even offered to help set it up and take it down. Once the Osseo parade started the real fun began. Alexis light up with when she saw all the people cheering for her. I owe the community of Osseo a big thanks for being so welcoming and for making Alexis feel important on her big day.
    The last and final event of the day was desert a DQ. The heat took a toll on all of us so that ice cream sure hit the stop. At the DQ we presented the family with gifts that we have been collecting over the past few weeks. I will never forget the joy that I saw on the family faces when they received them. They were more then deserving of those gifts and I wish them the best of luck in the future. This day will always leave a mark on heart and I hope to see the family again someday.
