This past Sunday, Miss Albertville, Sydney, Junior Commodore, Maverick, Junior Miss, Holland, and I attended Howard Lake's Good Neighbor Days Parade. The past few days we have been hit with intense storms, but we lucked out and had beautiful weather. I even got sunburned. Unfortunately, I only got color on the left half of my body. I was happy to have great weather though!
After the parade, Sydney and I attended a brunch. We sat with the Wright Country Fairest of the Fair Ambassadors. They are such lovely girls. It was nice to talk and get to know other royalty for more than a few minutes. We had a yummy dinner catered by Waverly Cafe. It was delightful! The cupcakes were my favorite part.
Proceeding the brunch was the Howard Lake Royalty Coronation. I love going to coronations, to see what is similar and different than ours was. Me and Sydney picked up a few things we would like to bring to ours for next year. It was a lovely coronation. The Howard Lake Royalty and candidates were friendly, and very inviting. It was nice getting to know the royalty, but I am excited to bond with the new royal court. Congratulations to the 2013-2014 Howard Lake Royalty!
