The American Red Cross is in desperate need of blood donations as shortages have been reported due to fears surrounding COVID-19. For a limited time, when someone donates blood, platelets or plasma with the Red Cross, the donation will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies. Those making donations must be feeling healthy and have an appointment.
