Sea Devils Swimmers compete at Regional Championships

The Sea Devils swim team had a successful spring and summer season with many swimmers competing in regional races.

Sea Devils Swimming had 15 swimmers represent Team Minnesota at the Central Zone Swim Championships August 3 – 5, held in Pleasant Prairie, WI.   Other states competing included Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota and North Dakota.  Three swimmers brought home first place finishes:  Amber Eckstein in the 200 Breast; Anna Ellis in the 50 Back and the 100 Back; and in the 200 Free Relay.

Many Sea Devils swimmers also participated in the MN State Swimming Championships, held July 26-29, at the University of Minnesota.

The Sea Devils holds practices at the St. Michael Middle School East, Big Lake High School, Vandenberg Middle School in Elk River, and Brooklyn Center Community Center.  Sea Devils Swimming is a member club of Minnesota Swimming ,Inc. and USA Swimming.   The club website is at www.seadevilssswimming.com
